This Saturday Southern Districts are playing the Newcastle Wildfires. Academy who have been playing against some of the NRC development squads and we are expecting a very exciting and fast game. 

The Souths boys have had a lead up program with the Bowral 7s a couple of weeks ago and this has flowed into this Newcastle game so a lot of the players have been training for about 6 weeks.

The team is a mixture of grade, Colts and U/18 players with the squad is looking quite strong. There are a few players  who are joining Southern Districts and it will be good to see them play in the candy strip jersey for the first time.

The Squad -

Forwards: Jarrome Raru, Gareth Thomas, Lachlan King, Kevin Weeks, Benet James, Sam Iuta, Jake Holman, Dom McGrath, Max Freeman, Tom Lane, Tristan Healey.

Backs: Jake Lubrano, Jack Keppel, Tylah Pritchard, Trey Brown, Angus McGrath, Cyril Sawaki, Damon Browne, Ryan Sorrell, Brock Hammond, Frank Calgulay, Tom Evans, Ethan Niszcott, Waldo Wessells, Grant Isles.

The Coaches are Alan Wright and Conor Young. The game kicks off at 3pm at Allan David Field, Willow Road Gateshead Newcastle, The bus will be leaving the clubhouse at 10.30am.
